PAID APPRENTICESHIP FOR MAY AND JUNE 2020 GRADUATES
Identity and Access Management Software Engineer
Cyberdefenses has a unique opportunity for 2020 graduates to join our dynamic and growing Professional Services Identity and Access Management (IAM) Team through a paid IAM Software Engineer apprentice position.
For entry into this program, we are hosting a competition in our Houston office, from Monday, January 6th to Friday, January 10th.
THE COMPETITION
- Competing candidates will receive instruction in:
- Identity and Access Management concepts
- Identity and Access Management vendor landscape
- Identity and Access Management Implementation methodology
- Consulting soft skills
- Presentation skills and how to manage the room
- Competing interns will be divided into teams and presented with two technical challenges
- Each team will present their solution to these technical challenges
- Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a May or June 2020 graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Programming or a related technology field
- Java scripting and programming experience required
- Basic system administration experience is desired
- Must be able to meet US employment criteria
- Ready to work hard to excel in this demanding industry
WINNERS OF THE COMPETITION WILL BE NOTIFIED BY JANUARY 31st AND WILL RECEIVE
- Paid IAM Engineer apprentice position at CyberDefenses with a June 2020 start
- Apprentice period expected to last six months and successful graduates will transition to full-time employment
- Classroom instruction in Identity and Access Management fundamentals
- Classroom instruction to become a Certified SailPoint IdentityIQ Engineer (an industry-leading certification)
- Mentoring from our IAM expert architects and engineers
- Mentoring on soft skills development
- On-the-job training
