The sophisticated HAFNIUM attack has potentially affected thousands of companies by exposing email servers to intruders with ongoing administrative access to the target’s servers. Microsoft is providing tools that on-premise Exchange Server customers can use to determine if they have been affected by the HAFNIUM attack. In addition to running the Microsoft script, the Triage service includes a thorough investigation to find indicators of compromise that can be difficult to identify with a script alone.
