Our Leadership
RANDELL CASEY
Founder, Chairman of the Board
Randell has more than 25 years of experience as an executive, project manager and systems engineer – leading and managing personnel in the delivery of critical military and private sector information technology projects.
In addition to his executive and management experience, Randell has extensive computer training, including knowledge of multiple networking environments and business software packages.
He has directly managed multi-million dollar budgets for the government, and is recognized as a leader in cybersecurity – advising key corporate, government and military constituents.
Randell is also a retired Colonel of the Texas National Guard, where he commanded the Information Operations Brigade.
ARMANDO ORDONEZ
Chief Executive Officer
Armando oversees the strategic direction of CyberDefenses. He drives the growth of the company and shapes the company mission and values. He leads CyberDefenses' expansion into new service and product lines as well as new markets. He also serves as head of mergers and acquisitions.
Additionally, Armando advances the company's innovative approach to cybersecurity. He instills a culture focused on the delivery of excellence across services and products to an expanding client-base.
Prior to CyberDefenses, Armando spent more than 20 years in information technology roles at EDS, Dell, Motive, Alcatel Lucent and Hewlett-Packard. He has worked in numerous disciplines including support, sales, operations, business development and executive management.
ROBERT CASTALDI
Chief Financial Officer
Robert leads the strategy and direction of CyberDefenses finance, accounting and human resources functions. This includes forecasting, job costing, legal oversight, property management, bank relationships and payroll among other critical areas of responsibility.
He brings years of finance and operations experience across diverse industries including technology, semiconductor manufacturing, global distribution of electronic components and data storage. Prior to CyberDefenses, Robert was the Controller and CFO at Yarborough Solutions Worldwide where he provided key leadership that led to a successful acquisition. He has also held leadership roles at companies such as Expedia Group, Inc., Arrow Electronics and Quantum Corporation.
Robert holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Saint Joseph’s University and an MBA from the University of Colorado.
BRIAN ENGLE
Chief Operations Officer and CISO
Brian leads the Security Operations, Cyber Intelligence, Advisory Consulting and Program Management teams that are responsible for the delivery of services across the CyberDefenses client base.
Brian also ensures that the processes and technologies used to run the CyberDefenses business and services are secure and resilient to the increasing and evolving risks.
Brian has been a professional within Information Security and Information Technology for more than 25 years as a cybersecurity consultant and leader of organizations in commercial industry and state government.
Previous roles include leading the Retail and Hospitality Information Sharing and Analysis Center, CISO and Cybersecurity Coordinator for the State of Texas, CISO for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission along with roles at Silicon Laboratories and Temple-Inland.
EDDIE BLOCK
Chief Technology Officer
Eddie is responsible for technology selection, research, and development across the range of security services offered to CDI customers.
Eddie has over 20 years of experience as an information security professional, with experience ranging from performing penetration tests to managing technical teams performing all aspects of information security, including credentialing functions, firewall and IDS/IPS deployment and monitoring, and incident response.
As a former CISO, Eddie understands the challenges that organizations face as they address emerging cybersecurity threats. Using a risk-based approach to security planning, Eddie is able to develop strong protections that provide defense-in-depth and are aligned with business needs.
Eddie holds a Bachelor of Arts from Loyola Marymount University and an J.D. from the St. Mary’s University School of Law.
BEN HOGAN
Vice President, Sales
Ben leads sales execution and go-to-market strategy for CyberDefenses. He works with the technology and operations teams to help shape service programs that assist clients in resolving complex cybersecurity challenges.
Ben has over 20 years of experience bringing complex technologies to market. Prior to CyberDefenses, Ben lead the sales team at Senzing, a Entity Resolution start-up based in Las Vegas Nevada. Prior to Senzing he led sales for Catelas (now ACA Compliance), AppNexus (now a part of AT&T) and ComputerLinks (now a part of Arrow Electronics).
Hogan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southwestern University. He lives in Austin with his wife, 3 children, a Rhodesian Ridgeback, a 1976 FJ55 and way too many guitars.
