AUSTIN, TEXAS June 27, 2018 – CyberDefenses, a premier provider of military-grade cybersecurity services to the commercial and government sectors, announced today that Armando Ordonez has been named Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The appointment comes as Randell Casey, founder and former CEO, assumes the role of Chairman of the Board.
Under Casey’s leadership, the company has grown its revenue by 600 percent over the past three years. CyberDefenses has won several new contracts across numerous Air Force and DISA installations. Plus, the company has successfully completed two strategic acquisitions and introduced new business lines including Identity and Access Management (IAM), commercial Security Operations (SecOps) and an Academy focused on cybersecurity training and an Apprentice Program.
Previously serving as Chief Operating Officer (COO), Ordonez has been a key contributor to the company’s rapid growth and successful advancement into new markets. Ordonez’s career spans more than twenty years serving information technology roles at EDS, Dell, Motive, Alcatel Lucent and Hewlett-Packard. His experience encompasses multiple disciplines such as support, sales, operations, business development and executive management.
